Before we got married my wife laughed out loud and said "as IF I'd take your name".

I laughed too.

She's her own person and can do as she damn well pleases. (which she does to this day)

I think I love her even more for this than she knows.

(That having been said - if a woman wants to be "Mrs. John Anything", I'm good with that as well. Her choice, not mine. I don't have any more right to her reproductive choices as I do how she chooses to called)
