Your reasons are your reasons, and they should only apply to you and your future spouse IMHO - if I've learned anything in our 30 years together is that if someone has a problem with this, they'll find something else to have problem with tomorrow. True friends and family look for the good, while the false ones are always looking for (and will find) a crack somewhere.
