Couple this with the incredibly high price of housing in the US and it's easy to see that working 2 FT jobs just to sleep in a crappy apartment isn't as appealing as it used to be. If I'm going to have to sleep in a crappy apartment, I think working 1 shitty FT job should be sufficient...
