Football analogy: Last play of the game and a pass is thrown into the endzone. The receiver is tackled when the ball is still 10 feet from his hands and it sails over his head. Game over. Some idiots will say "you can't call pass interference on that play - I don't want the refs deciding the game" - completely missing the point that by NOT calling a penalty, the refs are still deciding the game - just for the other team.
