Free speech is a very powerful tool - and like most powerful tools, requires skill to operate properly - which we lack to a very high degree these days.

Completely agree that basic civics (and economics for that matter) should be a mandatory part of our education in the country. For example: when most people scream about "freedom!", aside from meaning how it applies to them and not those who hold contrary views, they are really talking about anarchy.

Even more sad is having to explain to them what anarchy is and why it's a bad thing...
