Funny (not funny) that being a "team player" doesn't mean what it used to - the companies have broken the pact that was understood just a few decades ago - "if you work hard for us, we'll make sure you have a job and one day you'll be able to retire".

"Team player" now means "we'll exploit the hell out of you and suck up every waking moment of your life until the exact instant we discover we can save fractions of a percent in labor costs by letting you go with no warning".

As a late boomer - I appreciate greatly what the Millennials have done for all of us in attempting to shift the balance of power a bit more in our favor.
