Good piece by Robert Reich ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1GKWFZyLbg) that I think dovetails nicely with what you’re saying in regards to what’s happening in politics these days. His point is that we’re not really looking at a left/right battle anymore, but an “establishment” vs “anti-establishment” one instead. The only really anti-establishment candidate is Bernie, with Elizabeth Warren actually being more of a moderate/centrist in this regard. If the Dems find a way to oust Bernie, they will lose the young generation, perhaps for good. They don’t really differentiate much between Trump, Pete, Joe and Mike as all merely present variation on the status quo that is only working for a small percentage of folks.

“Funny” how Bernie and Liz are being painted as far-left socialists when nearly everything they propose would be called “normal” in the bulk of western Europe. For the liberal left — Bernie and Liz represent the compromise, not the ideal….
