"Government is not there to make a profit"
OMG - yes! For everyone who keeps saying "we need a good businessman in the Oval" - this is my response.
It's about doing the things that benefit it's citizens, not what makes the shareholders the most $$. Sometimes we do things b/c they improve people's lives, not b/c we can make a buck or two.
Invariably when businessmen try and run the country as they would a company, only a few benefit while the majority end up with fewer/poorer services than before for the same $$.
