I do have minor quibble in that "The Wachowskis’ pioneering use of “flo-mo” shots added another weapon to the CGI armoury" was actually done in camera - or more accurate - "in cameras". Lots of good CGI work to go around in that first film - but "flo-mo" took an innovated approach to generate the effect.
