I admit to being torn - I don't want to be accosted by anti-vaxxers ever time I go outside. However, I do think that TV "personalities" need to understand that their little performances have real-world implications - they are not playing in a vacuum.

Real news people research and present what they believe is the truth at that moment in time with the information they have. If their understanding/interpretation of events changes with new information, they issue a retraction - this is not rocket science.

However when one is playing a part in a play and doubling down on every lie in order to make a buck - I got no sympathy for you when someone pushes back in public. You don't get to play a professional asshole on tv and then play the "I'm just out with my family" card...
