I hope you continue writing for at least the next 20 years b/c I want to be hearing stories about your daughters! No home is perfect (as my boys remind me again and again) - but cannot help but be hopeful for a future where 2 girls can grow with such support. I see too many who are being shaped for a particular life instead of learning empowerment to become the life they were meant to experience. (I did read this to my wife, who was carrying a shovel. She did laugh, but we also have separate bank accounts - so I think I am safe)
