I still hear people blather on about how great T-rump was for the economy - what a crock of shit. Although the math is more complicated than I'd like (it won't fit on a meme very nicely) - his policies added roughly $8.4 trillion to the national debt, while Biden added a little over $4 trillion. (It's worth noting that if one subtracts out all the covid-related stimulus, T-rump still "wins" by adding nearly $5 trillion to Biden's $2.2)
As many of us have learned on a much (much) smaller scale - running up one's credit cards is an easy way to look successful, but eventually you need a democrat in office to bring a little sanity to things.
