If it's any consolation, I have a few friends who won't be voting for the Republican ticket the next time around b/c they (GOP) don't support national healthcare. They won't vote for anyone with a (D) in their name either - 'cuz those people hate America (lol) - but at least the GOP won't be getting their votes either...
