It feels so good to have a little joy and (actual) humor in a campaign again - to be voting for someone instead of just against someone else.
I live in California though, where my vote doesn't mean jack sht. I had an old acquaintance ask me the other day - in all seriousness - "I used to think you were a Christian, was I wrong?" This was in response to a fairly tame "I'm voting for Kamala" post that gathered a bunch of likes on FB. My response to him was exactly the same, with an added question - "how can you support someone whose very existence stands opposed to everything we were taught at church?"
Abortion - Kamala murders babies and he wants cheap gas again.
This. This is why I will vote in every election until I die - whether it "counts" or not. Who I stand with and am seen to stand for, matters.
