Jack of all trades - still need to tailor your interviews for the job (not to sound negative)

Your potential employer cares about 1 thing only - what can you do for me? If I'm interviewing you to collect carts in the parking lot, then connect the dots for me and show how (some part of) your work history will make you the best damn "cart picker-upper" I'll ever hire.
