My wife and I just shake our heads sadly now, and we have a "no names" policy in our house when one wants to mention some asinine post or borderline illiterate social share.

My wife comes from a large (non-white) immigrant family who are still doubling down on all things trump. One cousin is currently dying in a Covid ICU mere weeks after a multitude of packed holiday gatherings and yet "i wont live my life in fear" is still on their anti-masking lips.

Many others emigrated to western europe and they keep asking us "wtf is wrong with the family" on a weekly basis and we have no answers.

These are people who would benefit from everything Bernie Sanders proposes - (except for the free education part-duh) and yet they have him and SOC painted as far-left liberal devils. No talking points mind you, just, you know, "Socialism".
