100% agree that this matters about as much as the likelihood I win the next argument with my wife. What does irritate me however, is that this supposedly impartial court (hah!) keeps flip-flopping on exactly which rights states are allowed to keep for themselves.

Frankly we shouldn't be here at all. When Mitch punted this back in 2020 with his "this is a matter for the courts to decide" bs instead of simply voting to convict trump after his shenanigans on Jan 6 left several people dead and stretched what constitutes "acceptable political behavior" beyond what anyone ever thought possible.

A least Colorado took a stand - which is way more than our GOP "leaders" have done in almost 10 years.
