Since "money" is an invented concept anyway, it's an imaginary game with numbers that has real-world implications for workers. Fact is that we've allowed a few individuals to plunder our resources - both natural and man-made - while profiting at a ridiculous level.
I get that in some instances the carcass is worth more when stripped for parts - and that may even be a valuable service - although I question the distribution of the remaining value.
