Thank you for this - been saying the same thing ever since it was first proposed and you provided a great framework for the "challenges" faced in this country with implementing such a program.

We have deep, systematic issues that can't be papered over by mailing out checks every month and we lack the will to make the necessary changes.

Why we continue to prop up folks like Bezos and the Waltons (among 1000 others) is beyond me, but they can certainly afford armies of financial geniuses whose sole purpose is to game the system in their favor.
