The average American is an idiot who thinks health insurance from their employer is “free” and therefore opposed any type of medicare for all as their taxes will go up.

The kinds of incentives required to change behavior (not perceptions/beliefs) require a government that realizes the new behavior is in the country’s best (long-term) interests.

I think we’ve done a good job so far in encouraging EV construction — let’s continue those policies while also taxing/penalizing those industries who are wrecking our environment for the benefit of a very few individuals.
