The whole "he's a great businessman" is the most inane reason for giving him your vote. (I don't believe that he is, btw-)
We are a country, not a company. Many things the government does is for public good, not short-term profit. CEO's responsibility is to increase shareholder value - and we are not the shareholders. We are the minimum-wage employee being told to suck it up b/c "no one wants to work anymore".
Even if he were a great businessman - that says nothing about his (lack of) skill in the area of public service.
