This sounds lovely - for 5% of the population. I fear that the vast majority of folks wouldn't do a damn thing if they didn't have to - also that the same greedy assholes who already control everything now would find a way to concentrate AI wealth/power leaving us all out in the dark again.
I love the idea of a Star Trek future - but with (almost) half our country voting for the orange asshole again, it's become pretty obvious we are light-years away from even appreciating such a vision...
