We are a stupid, frightened nation that absolutely lacks the capacity for critical thinking.

Who wants Medicare for all? Most of you will get better coverage than you have now - even if you actually do have coverage through your job.

No thanks, I already get it for free from work

It's not free - your company actually shells out close to $1500/month for your "free" insurance. What if they just put that $1500 in your pocket instead?

No thanks, my taxes would go up

Well, yes they would - but only $1000, and you'd also get free higher education, lower medical deductibles, and two extra weeks vacation.

But my taxes would go up

Yes - but you'd actually be $500 ahead, with better medical coverage, more vacation time and higher education for your kids

I don't have any kids

Ok - forget the kids - STILL $500 ahead

No thanks - Venezuela
